Mojo Wool-haired mammoth.
The woolly-haired mammoth lived in Denmark during parts of the ice ages, during ice-free periods on vast steppes with other large grazing animals, e.g. woolly rhinoceros and steppe bison. The mammoth's teeth are robust and have survived, glaciers have later slipped across the area and in most cases split the other skeletal parts apart.
The mammoth was not frozen out of Denmark, it was heated for approx. 15,000 years ago, when climate and environment changed so much that it disappeared from Denmark.
You can experience a stuffed mammoth at the Zoological Museum in Copenhagen.
