ONLINEKIDS’ PERSONAL DATA POLICY

 

1. GENERAL
 

  1.       This document describes how Onlinekids ApS ("Onlinekids") collects and processes information about you.
     
  2.       The personal data policy applies to the personal data you provide to us,or which we collect via our website www.onlinekids.com ("Website").
     
  3.       Onlinekids is responsible for your personal information. All inquiries regarding. our personal data policy can be done via the contact information listed under pkt. 8. 

     

2.   THE INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW IT IS USED
 

1.       When you visit our Website, we automatically collect information about you and your use of the Website, e.g. the type of browser you use, the search terms you use on the Website, your IP address and network location, as well as information about your computer.
The purpose is to optimize the user experience and the functionality of the Website, and to target marketing, including retargeting via e.g. Google and Facebook. The processing of information is necessary in order for us to show you relevant offers and improve the Website.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) of the EU Personal Data Regulation. 1, letter f.
 

2.       When you buy a product or communicate with us on the Website, we collect the information you provide yourself, e.g. name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, method of payment, delivery requests, information about which products you buy and information about the IP address from which the order was made.
The purpose is to deliver the products you have ordered and otherwise fulfill our agreement with you, including to be able to manage your rights of return and create claims. Information about your purchas is also necessary to comply with legal requirements for e.g. bookkeeping and accounting.
 

3.       When you purchase a product, we collect the IP address to serve our interest in preventing fraud.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) of the EU Personal Data Regulation. 1, letters b, c and f.

 

4.       When signing up for our newsletter, we collect information about your name and email address.
The purpose is to take care of our interest in being able to deliver newsletters to you.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) of the EU Personal Data Regulation. 1, letter f.
 

5.       When you join our customer club, you will be asked to submit e.g. name, address, email address, phone number. In addition to name, address and e-mail address, you choose which information you want to give us. In addition, we collect information during your membership about your use of the customer club's benefits, which competitions you participate in, and more. We compare this information with other information we have about you, including information about what you have purchased and possibly returned.
 

The purpose is to be able to manage your membership and provide you with the services and offers associated with the membership of the customer club, as well as to take care of our interest in being able to send newsletters and carry out targeted marketing.

Upon registration, you will be asked to give separate consent to electronic marketing.
The legal basis for the processing is Article 6 (1) of the EU Personal Data Regulation. 1, letters b and f.


 

3.   RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
 

1.      Information about your name, address, e-mail, telephone number as well as order number and specific delivery requests are passed on to the carrier responsible for the delivery of the purchased goods.
When purchasing non-stocked goods, the mentioned information can be passed on to the manufacturer or seller of the product in question, who in that case will be responsible for the delivery.
 

2.      Information may be given external partners who process the information on our behalf.
We use external partners for, among other things, technical operation and improvements of the Website, distribution of newsletters and targeted marketing, including retargeting and partners who, on our behalf, can send you invitations to rate us, our products and our Website.
If you use the invitation, these partners will become data controllers and data processors under our instructions, and may not use the information for any purpose other than the written confidentiality agreement we have entered into with them.
 

3.      If these partners are established in the United States such as Google Analytics and Facebook Inc. the necessary guarantees for the transfer of information to the United States are secured through the certification of the data processor under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, cf. EU Personal Data Regulation Art. 45.

4.   YOUR RIGHTS

 

  1. In order to create full transparency regarding the processing of your information, we will inform you about your rights, which you, among other things. has in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation.
     
  2. Your right of access
    You are at all times entitled to ask us what information we have registered about you, what purpose the registration serves, what categories of personal information and recipients of information that may be, as well as information on where the information comes from.
     
  3. You have the right to receive a copy of the personal data that we process about you. You must document that you are who you say you are, and send a written request to customerservice@onlinekids.com.
     
  4. Your right of rectification
    You have the right to have incorrect personal information about yourself corrected by us. And if you become aware that there is an error in the information that we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected.
     
  5. The information we have collected in connection with your registration with our customer club, can at all times be corrected via your user profile.
     
  6. Your right to delete
    In certain cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal information deleted by us, e.g. if you revoke your consent and we have no other legal basis to continue the processing.
    To the extent that continued processing of your information is necessary, e.g. for us to comply with our legal and accounting obligations, or for legal claims to be established, asserted or defended, we are not obliged to delete your personal information.
     
  7. Your right to restrict processing for storage
    In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data limited to storage only, e.g. if you believe that the information we process about you is incorrect.
     
  8. Your right to data portability
    You have the right to have personal information that you have given us provided in a structured and machine-readable format.
     
  9. Your right to object
    At any time, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, including the profiling carried out in order to target our direct marketing.
     
  10. You also have the right, for reasons relating to your personal circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data, which is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, cf. pkt. 2.
     
  11. Your right to revoke consent
    You have the right at any time to revoke a consent you have given us for a given processing of personal data, including for the profiling carried out by you as a member of the customer club.

  12. Your right to make a claim
    You, at all times, have the right to submit a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Borgergade 28, 5, 1300 København K, about our processing of your personal data. Complaints can, among other things, be submitted by email at dt@datatilsynet.dk or telephone +45 33 19 32 00.
     
  13. Further information is available at E-handelsfonden's hotline tel. +45 44 85 85 90 (weekdays between 9-15) or at post@handelsfonden.dk.
    They respond to emails within 24 hours all weekdays.
    Onlinekids.com is an e-branded online store.
    When you shop at e-branded online stores, you always have access to the e-commerce fund's consumer hotline. 


 

5.   DELETION OF DATA
 

1. Information collected about your use of the Website, cf. pkt. 2.1. will, at the latest, be deleted when you have not used the Website for 3 years.
 

2. Information collected in relation to your subscription to our newsletter will be deleted no later than 3 months after your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn, unless we have another legal basis for processing the information.

3. Information collected in connection to purchases you have made on the Website, cf. pkt. 2.3 will in principle be deleted 3 years after the end of the calendar year in which you have made your purchase.
However, information can be stored for a longer period of time if we have a legitimate need for prolonged storage, by e.g. processing of legal claims or fulfillment of legal requirements.
 

4. Accounting material must be kept for 5 years until the end of a financial year in order to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act.
 

5. The information we have collected in connection to your registration to, and during your membership of, our customer club, cf. pkt. 2.5, will automatically be deleted if you have not logged in for 3 years or you unsubscribe from your membership.
 

6. THE USE OF COOKIES
 

1.      When visiting our Website, information about you is collected. This information is used to customize and improve our content and to increase the value of the ads displayed on the page.
If you do not want information collected, you should delete yours and refrain from further use of the Website.
Below we have elaborated on which information is collected, their purposes and which third parties have access to it.
 

2.      The website uses "cookies", which is a text file that is stored on your computer, mobile or device for the purpose of recognizing it, remembering settings, performing statistics and targeting ads. Cookies cannot contain malicious code such as virus.

This type of cookie remembers choices such as which country you visit from, which currency you use, size you choose, brands you prefer, etc. We use them to tailor a more personal experience, and offer the most relevant products and the best user experience.

Type 4 - Targeted advertising cookies
This type of cookie collects information about your search history to target ads for more relevant content. They also help limit the number of times a specific ad is displayed. This type of cookie is usually located on third party networks. They remember the websites you visit and share them with other parties such as advertisers. E.g. we use third party networks to share ads better targeted to you when you use other websites.

 

7.   SECUIRITY
 

    1. We have implemented technical and organizational security measures to prevent personal data from being destroyed or altered in any way and against it being misused or made known to unauthorized persons.
      Only the employees and partners who have a need to know your personal information in order to carry out their work, have access to it.

9.   CHANGES IN THE PERSONAL DATA POLICY

 

  1. We reserve the right to change and improve the Personal Data Policy, which can be seen on the Website at all times.
  2. If you have joined our customer club, you will be notified of the policy changes by sending information to your registered email address.
