The red deer, also called the crowned deer or red deer, belongs to the deer family.
An adult deer gets a large antler (essay) of approx. 0.5 m with approx. 12–14 thanks (ends). On old deer there can be up to 22 ewes.
Deer spend most of their time searching for food. They are herbivores and love shoots and buds of deciduous and coniferous trees, herbs and fresh leaves as well as acorns and beech that are easy for the deer to digest.
Most children are fascinated by animals, and very curious to hear more about them.
