Kubb, king game, chief game or Viking game is a game for 2 to 12 players.
The game is perfect for a day at the beach, in the garden or a nice walk in the woods.
The game consists of 1 king, who is placed in the middle of the field and 5 blocks per team.
In addition, 6 throwing sticks are used.
The four extra sticks one to delimit the course with.
The logs are placed in two rows at each end.
The king is placed in the middle of the two teams.
The two teams now take turns throwing their sticks and knocking over the opponents' blocks. When they are overthrown, the king must be overthrown.
The team that overthrows the king has won.
The game is claimed to have roots in the Middle Ages, but there is a lack of documentation for the game's existence before 1990. Kubb probably originates from Gotland in Sweden.
